Every Tutamen programme begins in Dongguan. Concept, design, DFM, tooling, sample run, and full-volume production — owned by one engineering team, executed on one floor.
OVERVIEW
Dongguan is the technical centre of gravity for the company. It is the site that proves a programme is buildable — at the sample stage and again at the production stage — before the rest of the network ever sees it. Material flow, fixture design, in-process testing, and first-article inspection all originate here.
The campus has grown out from a single registered entity in 2006 to a federated set of specialist subsidiaries: Caimei (assembly + injection), Yuanmei (CNC, injection, assembly · 2019), and Tianmei (metal stamping · 2020). In 2025 we added in-house die-casting and an expanded CNC line — closing the last outsourced gaps in the Dongguan vertical stack.
CAPABILITIES

Mill, lathe, drilling, grinding, and laser-cut. Multi-axis cells from prototype through low-volume production. Tooling fab in-house.
Injection moulding with in-house mould design and tool build. All resin families. Co-located with assembly for short-cycle iteration.
In-house die-casting cell added 2025 — eliminating the last outsourced primary process in the Dongguan stack.
Sub-assembly, final assembly, ultrasonic welding, riveting, gluing/bonding. Brazing for thermal joints.
First-article inspection, dimensional metrology, functional test. Every programme validated here before transfer to a production site.
Anodising, passivation, pad print, silk screen, laser etch, polishing, sand-blasting, labelling, packaging, calibration.
Concept design, renderings, 3D CAD solid modelling, material research, FMEA, DFM, material-flow optimisation.
CO-LOCATED LABORATORIES
Thermal and electrically conductive pastes, gels, and pads. Brazing flux. Conductive plastics. Proprietary TIM development for the Tutamen line.
Development and testing of thermal infrastructure innovations. Real load profiles, cartridge heaters, die simulators, thermocouple arrays.
